This Kimmi-Gold is currently making great strides in breeding. Her first offspring, Pien-Gold (Nixon v/h Meulenhof), scored no fewer than 83 points during her mare test. This bodes well for the breeding value of this auction lot, which in turn is bred from Gerco Schroder’s former top mare, Vicky Gold. This mare evokes vivid memories. As well as her strikingly marked appearance, she stood out for her spectacular and flashy jumping style, which she demonstrated right up to 1m55 Grand Prix level. After her sporting career, Vicky-Gold entered the breeding programme. There, in addition to this auction lot, she produced Mans-Gold, who jumps at 1m45, and O’Nino-Gold, who is classified at 1m35. Vicky herself is the sister of Daddy-Gold and Diamogold, both of whom are classified at 1m50. This characterises the proven direct strength and power of this auction lot on paper.
