MORRISSEY MVDL Z

ABOUT

Anyone looking to progress in the sport would do well to start with a proven sporting foundation. And that is exactly what this interestingly bred auction lot offers. His granddam is the foundation mare Sophie du Chateau, who competed at 1m40 herself. And, amongst others, she produced this foal’s grandmother, who herself jumped at 1m50 at Grand Prix level. She is joined in this line by a long list of international siblings, of whom Itot du Chateau, owned by Edwina Tops Alexander, enjoys worldwide renown. But Kolea du Chateau, Letoile du Chateau, Nikidam du Chateau, Oui M’Sieu du Chateau, Rimbo and Sultan du Chateau – all of whom jumped at 1m50 and 1m60 – also cleared the highest fences as relatives of this auction lot.
