A strain that is growing fast is this ‘Eickenrode’ strain. Young, and talented. But subtly put away at big stables and international show jumping riders. Who are going to give this quality breeding a sporting chance in the coming years. Meanwhile, for example, Jignipes Eickenrode is already advertising in the 1m50. Previously with John Whitaker and now with Dennis van den Brink. Their half-sister Ignigena Eickenrode also seems to be making strides after good performances in the 1m40. And if you look a generation earlier, you will see that the great-grandmother is, among others, the sister of Franke Sloothaak's former top stallion Lord Z.
