Round five. And the success has long since been counted on one hand. At the season finale, Chacco Blue daughter California Dreaming was knocked off as the auction topper for €25,000. Where she may go a passionate breeder's dreams come true. In her wake, a Belgian duo of friends seized Cornet's Uricas for €23,00. A brother of Grand Prix winner Uricas van de Kattevennen. Clever de Jolie Z also finished in the double figures with €20,000. And finds a new owner in New Zealand, where his half-brother is also stationed.

With a sales percentage of 90% and an average price of €10,500, the season ended in style. Returning buyers made the final round a success. Where they were joined by a large number of newly interested parties in the HorseSales.Auction lots.

For example, a French showjumper seized no less than four foals. And among others, he is looking forward to the moment when Continuous Good WM (Contagio), Twilly CD (Lambada Shake), Echostar vd Eijckhof (Echo vh Spieveld) and Tine Bro (Conthargos) can make their competition debuts.

The strikingly signed Ebalia EH Z leaves for €12,500 to a German buyer. Who took part in an online auction for the first time. The eastern neighbours were active anyway. Because Thiago Z (Tangelo vd Zuuthoeve), Casanova VT Z (Comme il Faut) and Contha Mevita Z (Conthargos) are also crossing the border.

And although as HorseSales.Auction we always look ahead. May we in this case also take a moment to reflect on what we have already achieved. What a season. What a finale. And... how grateful we all are. First and foremost towards our entrants. For their trust. For five rounds, we had the chance to put together a balanced collection. And five editions were appreciated by a global group of buyers. As team HorseSales.Auction, we thus look back with gratitude and pride at the important link we got to fulfil between breeders and buyers. No fewer than 157 foals found a new owner through HorseSales.Auction in 2023. And that at an average of almost €12,000. Together with our two photographers. Our regular video team. Our expert vet. The procurers who helped us throughout the season. And our rock-solid administrator, we are looking forward immensely to the 2024 foaling season. And we hope to be of service to you all first during the breeding auction (16 - 19 November) and our young-horse edition (14 - 17 December).
