HOLLAND, OHHHH HOLLAND! €90,000 FOR TWILIGHT OF THE BILDEKEN

HorseSales.Auction pops out of the year with €90,000 for Twilight vh Bildeken!

 

America vs Netherlands. And neither wanted to budge. Until Dutch bidders finally had the longest breath. And there was a disappointed reaction in America. ‘Is this really happening, those Dutch normally sell instead of buying?’. But nothing could be further from the truth. An up-and-coming sport stable in South Holland went deep for €90,000. But in doing so, it took the genetically very interesting five-year-old show mare Twilight vh Bildeken (United Touch) across the border. 

 

The successful auction spread over two finals had many highlights. Some of which are certainly worth mentioning. Indeed, America was not left empty-handed, taking three-year-old Ghita van het Scheefkasteel (Grandorado) across the pond for €31,000. Where he is joined by Quanta Costa BG Z (Quickly de Kreisker) who was knocked off for €25,000. And of Romanos vd Radstake who was knocked off for €17,500. The journey across the sea will also be made by Sanrezzo GE who is leaving for Brazil for €22,000. 

 

Remarkably interested also turned out to be French investors. Who include. Robin Hood (James) for €25,000 to Deauville. Capturing Rossita (Minute Man) for €16,500. And secured, among others, the Caro Vera S41 Z knocked off for €17,500 and Comulfo RR Z auctioned for €7,500.
